Textiles

I can't remember not knowing how to knit. I knitted through my teens, took a break, and started again in 1986 in an eventually-successful attempt to quit smoking. Knit constantly though January 2000, when I suddenly lost interest. The dry period lasted four years. During that time, I became a sculptor. One winter day in 2004, I looked at my yarn stash and wondered, "what about reds?  it would be fun to knit reds..." and I was off and going again.

The sample to the left is scanned from just above the purple spot in the lower right quadant of the picture.

Sweaters are not for sale, although I will consider trading for art with an equivalent amount of life-energy invested.

Details for Knitters

Detailed scans of the two red sweaters have been posted on a separate page. The pictures are fairly large--100K each--and I didn't want them to delay this page's loading.
