Yes, those are all "dog" tags, and Yes, I've owned all those animals. Some were cats.

I saw one of these hearts in a bead store in Chapel Hill. The staff at the store couldn't point me to directions for making it, and I didn't want to buy it so I could reverse engineer it. I couldn't forget it, however, and looked at it every time I was in the store.


A few months later, I saw the heart on the cover of the book shown below. I made the dozen hearts shown below at least twice each to get them right. Maybe it would have been easier if I had been able to read the instructions.
Small hearts, $40. Large hearts, $60.
I don't know how to tell you to find this book on Amazon. If you see it in a bead store and you can follow a lace knitting chart, you can make these hearts. For the record, Swarovski bicones are sold 144 to the pack, and each heart takes 72. One green and one padparasca heart didn't make it to the photo shoot, and one raspberry one made it twice.
